Data Deletion Instructions
For Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and the planned optional LinkedIn publishing integration
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
If you have connected your Meta (Facebook or Instagram) account to the Gorilla Works Marketing platform, you can revoke our access and request deletion of your data at any time by following the two steps below.
Step 1 — Revoke Access via Facebook Settings
Remove the Gorilla Works Marketing app from your Facebook account. This immediately cuts off our access to any Meta data associated with your account.
- Go to Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Business Integrations (or visit
facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools). - Find Gorilla Works Marketing in the list of connected apps.
- Click Remove and confirm.
This step immediately revokes Gorilla Works Marketing's access token. We will no longer be able to read any Meta data from your account from this point forward.
Step 2 — Request Deletion of Stored Data
After revoking access, email us to request removal of any Meta-sourced data we have already stored.
Send an email to hello@gorillaworksmarketing.com with the subject line "Meta Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your Gorilla Works account name
- The email address associated with your account
What Happens Next
We will delete all Meta-sourced data tied to your account within 30 days of receiving your request. This includes any stored access tokens, cached attribution metrics, and campaign performance data pulled from Meta.
Records required for legal, tax, or financial compliance (such as billing history) are retained per applicable law and our data retention policy — see Section 12 of our Privacy Policy.
You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
LinkedIn — Revocation and Deletion (Planned Integration)
The optional LinkedIn publishing integration is not currently available. These instructions apply if it becomes available and you authorize it. There is no current LinkedIn dashboard disconnect or automated deletion tool.
Step 1 — Revoke access on LinkedIn and withdraw publishing instructions
- Sign in to LinkedIn and open Permitted services, or go to Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services.
- If you previously authorized our integration, find the service you authorized for Gorilla Works and choose Remove. If it is not listed, contact us for help identifying the connection; this planned feature does not mean an app is already listed there.
- Email hello@gorillaworksmarketing.com to withdraw any publishing instructions, including scheduled posts or an automation configuration.
Revoking the service removes its LinkedIn access. Withdrawal of authorization would stop future publication under that authorization, including scheduled or automated posts not yet sent. Revocation does not delete data already stored by us or remove posts already published.
Step 2 — Request deletion of stored LinkedIn data
Email hello@gorillaworksmarketing.com with the subject “LinkedIn Data Deletion Request” and include:
- Your Gorilla Works account name and account email.
- The connected member profile or company Page name or URL, so we can identify the relevant data.
- Whether you also want independently supplied drafts, media, and scheduling instructions deleted.
Do not send passwords or access tokens. You can request deletion without first completing revocation. We may need to verify your authority over the account or Page. LinkedIn API data and credentials would be deleted under the applicable LinkedIn terms and law, including their deletion-on-request and account-closure requirements, rather than the Meta-specific 30-day procedure above. Independently supplied content is distinct from LinkedIn API responses; see Privacy Policy Section 10A and Section 12 — Data Retention. Any legally required retained records would not authorize continued publication.
Already published posts are separate
Deleting our stored data or revoking access does not remove a post from LinkedIn. Use LinkedIn's own post menu to delete posts on your member profile, or the Page's post controls if you have the necessary role. LinkedIn independently handles published content, including copies and reshares, under its own policies. We do not promise to delete published posts remotely.
For all other data deletion or privacy requests, email hello@gorillaworksmarketing.com and we will process the request in accordance with applicable law.
